Here at One and Only Dental, we will always do everything we can to save a tooth from extraction but, in some cases, it is simply unavoidable.
You may also have an overcrowded mouth.
When the actual treatment is occurring, you will be placed under local anaesthetic and won’t feel any pain or discomfort. At this point, we’ll gently loosen the tooth before removing it and administering a few stitches as necessary to help the wound heal.
You might experience some pain and discomfort as the numbing effect of the anaesthetic wears off. If this is the case, then over-the-counter medication such as ibuprofen or paracetamol should prove effective.
