Using their ClinCheck 3D treatment plan, we can outline the stages of your treatment for you, so that you know exactly what’s happening at every stage of the treatment.
First, you’ll come in for a consultation here with us at One and Only Dental. If you decide Invisalign® is the way you want to go, then we’ll take an impression of your teeth which will then be digitized so that we can develop your unique treatment plan.
This impression will be sent off to the aligner professionals at Invisalign® and they will make your sets of individual, completely unique, clear aligners. You’ll wear multiple different aligners throughout the process – usually for up to two weeks – before moving on to the next set.
You should expect to be wearing your aligners for up to 18 months, but it can take less time. We’ll try to determine a rough outline with you depending on your own set of needs, and the placement of your teeth.
You should wear your Invisalign® aligners every day in order to produce great results. You can take them off to brush your teeth, floss, and eat.
Invisalign® is not painful, however, you might experience some discomfort when you first start wearing each new set of aligners.
