Dentures are one of the most popular ways to replace missing teeth.
You can be fitted with either a full or partial set of dentures to replace missing teeth. They are entirely removable and usually made of acrylic. Full dentures rest on your jawbone, while partial dentures are attached to the natural teeth on either side of the prosthetic tooth or teeth.
We’ll take an impression of your mouth here at the practice, and a professional lab technician will design and make your dentures, especially for you. In some cases, we may have to remove some teeth before fitting the dentures, in which case there will be some time in between the appointments. This is to allow the gums time to heal.
Most dentures last for between seven and ten years, if cared for properly.
